Welcome to Kevorax ("Kevorax," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our project-based secrets vault platform, including our website, applications, APIs, CLI tools, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Account Registration
Creating an Account
To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. When you create an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Not share your account credentials with others
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Account Security
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) for enhanced security. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
3. Subscription and Billing
Free Trial
Kevorax offers a 7-day free trial for new users. During the trial period, you have full access to the Service features. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Subscription Fee
After the free trial, the Service is available for $5 per month. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
Payment Processing
Payments are processed through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use that payment method.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation is effective at the end of your current billing period. To cancel, use the cancellation feature in your account settings or contact support.
Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except as required by applicable law. If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged.
Price Changes
We may change our pricing at any time. Price changes will be communicated in advance and will apply to your next billing cycle after the change takes effect.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service to store, transmit, or process illegal content
- Store credentials or secrets that you do not have the right to use
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Use the Service to send spam, malware, or malicious content
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Use the Service to facilitate fraud, identity theft, or financial crimes
- Share your account or API tokens with unauthorized parties
- Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse the API
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or access controls
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Service Description
Kevorax provides a project-based secrets vault that allows you to:
- Store and encrypt API keys, tokens, and other credentials
- Organize secrets into projects
- Generate project-scoped access tokens
- Retrieve secrets via API or CLI
- Share secrets with team members
- Track secret usage and activity
- Set expiration dates for secrets
- Configure webhooks for project events
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
Service Changes
We may modify, update, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated to users in advance when practicable.
6. Data Security and Encryption
Encryption
Secrets stored in Kevorax are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
Your Responsibilities
While we take security seriously, you are responsible for:
- Keeping your account credentials secure
- Safeguarding your project API tokens
- Ensuring secrets you store do not violate third-party terms
- Reporting any suspected security breaches promptly
No Guarantee
Despite our security measures, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data. You use the Service at your own risk.
7. Intellectual Property
Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, code, documentation, and branding, is owned by Kevorax and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the secrets, credentials, and data you store in the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to provide the Service.
Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation.
8. API and CLI Usage
API Access
The Service provides APIs and CLI tools for programmatic access. By using these tools, you agree to:
- Use valid authentication credentials
- Respect rate limits and usage quotas
- Not abuse or overload the API
- Keep API tokens secure and rotate them regularly
Rate Limits
We may impose rate limits to ensure fair usage and service stability. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary access restrictions.
API Changes
We may update or deprecate APIs over time. We will provide reasonable notice of breaking changes when practicable.
9. Team and Collaboration Features
Team Access
The Service allows you to invite team members to projects. As the project owner, you are responsible for:
- Managing team member access and permissions
- Ensuring team members comply with these Terms
- Revoking access when team members leave
Shared Responsibility
When you share access to projects or secrets, you share responsibility for how that access is used. Choose collaborators carefully.
10. Disclaimers
AS-IS BASIS
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR AVAILABILITY.
NO GUARANTEE
We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
- Any errors will be corrected
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Service may integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
11. Limitation of Liability
LIMITATION
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KEVORAX AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Cost of substitute services
- Any damages exceeding the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim
EXCEPTIONS
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
BASIS OF BARGAIN
The disclaimers and limitations in these Terms reflect a reasonable allocation of risk and are a fundamental part of the agreement between you and Kevorax.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kevorax and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Content you store or transmit through the Service
- Your negligence or willful misconduct
13. Termination
By You
You may terminate your account at any time by using the account deletion feature in your settings or contacting support. Upon termination, your access to the Service will end and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Your account poses a security risk
- We are required to do so by law
- We discontinue the Service
Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to access the Service ends immediately
- You remain liable for any fees owed
- Provisions that should survive termination will survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification)
14. Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the issue informally. Most disputes can be resolved through direct communication.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Jurisdiction
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. You consent to personal jurisdiction in these courts.
Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes with us on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in class actions or class-wide arbitration.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes:
- We will update the "Last Updated" date
- For material changes, we will provide notice via email or through the Service
- Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance
If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and terminate your account.
16. General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kevorax regarding the Service.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Assignment
You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
No Agency
These Terms do not create any agency, partnership, or joint venture between you and Kevorax.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
